deadgirls.jpgReviewed by Nancy Orozco

Sunny is a 14 year old girl who takes care of her mom.  She feeds her, makes sure she takes her medication, and she even pays the bills.  Ever since her sister Jasmine died in a fire, she has to act like the parent at their house.  Then a letter arrives and it was sent from her dead sister Jazz.  It explains what happened and that she is coming home.  Once Jazz arrives, everything falls back in place.  They start cleaning the house and making food for her.  Sunny’s mother comes back to live and her father stops drinking.  But they soon learn, that’s not reallyJazz.

This book is really good to read.  You will not want to put the book down.  If you read this book, you might like to read Shattering Glass, another book by Gail Giles.
